Water Changes Everything.
In Burkina Faso, access to clean water is still a daily struggle for millions of people. Nearly 1 in 4 people do not have access to safe drinking water, and in many rural communities, families rely on contaminated surface water from ponds or shallow wells.
We can change that.
Together, we can bring clean, sustainable water to communities in Burkina Faso — restoring health, protecting children, and giving families the opportunity to thrive.
We believe everyone deserves access to clean, safe water. That’s why we are committed to bringing clean water wells to each of our partner communities — and beyond.
Clean water transforms an entire village. It provides a safe source for drinking, cooking, bathing, and cleaning. It reduces preventable disease, keeps children in school, and restores dignity to families. Access to water also supports irrigation and farming, increasing food security, strengthening small businesses, and building long-term sustainability.
Jesus reminds us in Matthew 10:42, “And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”
When a community receives clean water, it doesn’t just survive — it begins to thrive. And together, even a cup of cold water becomes part of an eternal impact.
When a community receives clean water, it doesn’t just survive — it begins to thrive.
More Ways to Bring Clean Water
Walk for Water
Every day in Burkina Faso, women and children walk miles under the hot sun to collect water — often 2–5 miles (3–8 kilometers) each way.
For many families, nearly 1 in 4 people lack access to safe drinking water, and the water they collect is frequently unsafe, leading to preventable illness and missed school days
Walk for Water is our opportunity to step into that reality — and help change it.
During Walk for Water, participants simulate that journey by carrying a water jug as they walk — stepping into the daily reality many families face.
Together, we raise funds to bring sustainable clean water wells to our partner communities.
Join the movement by participating in the next local Walk for Water or host your own event!
